Faculty of Medical and Allied Science is a reflection of the society we live in. All are welcome here. I am tremendously excited to begin my work as Dean of Faculty of Medical and Allied Science and take pride to be part of this esteemed University. As we step into the 25th Year of establishment of our University, we pledge to keep up with the mission of constant upliftmentin health services.
Our aim has always been to provide the best to the students and prepare them to take challenges of tomorrow as a competent health professional. It has been our constant endeavor to train competent, compassionate and caring health professionals through excellence in teaching, patient care and research work. Our faculties utilize a competency based curriculum which encourages students to develop an applied approach in providing healthcare.
We are devoted to developing human resources that can bring hope and relief to those suffering from ailments and illnesses with the support of faculty, staff and students. Our mission is to promote the core values of the university, stimulate a learning environment that is conducive to producing tomorrow’s competent health professionals. We have a responsibility to embrace new ways of educating and learning as well as incorporating new technologies, so that our graduates can lead the exciting changes in health care.
We embark on innovations and advance knowledge in the discipline, and transform knowledge into products and services to benefit the economic and social development in the eastern region as well as the country. And our vision is to be a center of excellence in the field of health that is recognized for its high-quality education programs, excellent healthcare facility and innovative research programs in Asia and beyond.
